English drop dial fusee wall clock
An English early 19th century period "Drop-Dial" fusee' wall clock by (Henry) Williams of Hastings, Sussex, made c1840. The rose-wood case with hexagonal bezel, is inlaid with brass in a leafy and scroll design. The drop trunk with glass pendulum window, and carved side wings. The 10" diameter white painted dial has black Roman numerals and blued steel spade hands.
Antique French rustic Farm House brass Lantern Clock c1850
An interesting and attractive French made rustic farm-house Lantern clock made around the middle of the 19th century period. The clock is mounted on an oak wooden wall bracket, is weight driven with two weights and drive chains.The clock main frame is iron with brass wheels. It strikes the hours on a top mounted hooped bell, and has a passing strike for the half hours. The interesting convex brass dial is engraved with black wax filled Roman numerals, and the dial is signed with the makers name of Yous de St. Vaubadon. The clock has a single hand, and a long pendulum beating seconds. The duration running of the clock is one day and it is wound by pulling up the weights with the chain. Sold fully warranted and restored, with free delivery and setting up within a reasonable distance of Midhurst West Sussex. In absolutely original condition with un-restored or re-touched dial 7" diameter dial bearing the logo. SR John Walker South Molton St, London 10108. The dial shows original signs of wear and use, and the eight day movement has a chain drive fusee'.

A rare and interesting Art Nouveau period, walnut cased Grande Sonnerie three weight Vienna regulator wall clock. The fine case four feet five inches long, has a moulded and carved top, glazed door and sides and a carved base. This clock, with eight day movement, strikes the hours and quarter hours every fifteen minutes on two gongs, has three brass shelled weights, an engraved and chased pendulum bob, and an engraved and chased dial centre.The white dial chapter ring has Roman numerals and the hands are pierced and fretted blued steel.
